Hello there!
How are you doing?
Before I start the second of these software posts, I want to preface my post with saying that Storybird looks amazing, but it is definitely not free, unlike many of the posts in this category.
What is it?
Students can create their own stories using images that are already on the website or on the Application which you can get from the Apple Store or the Google Play service [Unfortunately, as of the writing of this post, it seems like the app does not have many good reviews]. Students can write stories, but they can even write comic stories, etc.
They can even attempt to answer “challenges” given to them by teachers. These challenges are made with students’ age and levels in mind, which is very good.
While you are allowed to have 30 day free trial for the use of this, you can also pay for monthly plans. There is the Individual monthly plan, the Individual yearly plan, but the best potential value is probably the School pack [I completely understand the need for pricing these, because, after all, these images were made by artists, and these images are used in this way. Illustrators and other teachers who are working hard to produce these should be paid, after all].
Commenting is even made possible on these stories as well, and this is a type of feedback that students should receive to encourage their works.
Personally, I have not ever tried this,
But I would tell you that I would be extremely interested! Have you ever tried it?
Have a nice day!
