Snoopy Happy New Year GIFs | TenorHAPPY NEW YEAR, everybody,
It’s been quite a while since I wrote anything here, and I’m a bit stressed that I don’t see much of anything on my scheduled posts list. I’ve been quite busy, and I’m looking forward to… maybe the summer(?) to replenish my scheduled posts list? Hopefully.

I managed to survive the first day of the students being back from the winter break!

Hey there, everybody,
How’s it going? It’s Xmas soon, which means… already… almost half of the semester (étape 2) is over, and I’ve been stressing myself out trying to finish my corrections. Here’s today’s journal entry:

actually managed to finish all the corrections today, right before the Xmas break.

Positivity Journal (2024-12-16)

Wednesday, January 8th, 2025

Hello there everybody,
I hope this post finds you all well and not completely depressed about how it’s the end of the first half of the year (before winter break) and almost halfway into the second semester (Étape 2). Hang in there, a few more days to go!

Yep, the time-stamp is not wrong, I am writing this from January 8th of the next “calendar year,” rather than on the day of, but I was flipping through my agenda, and I realized that I forgot that I had done this very positive thing:

Today, I actually for the first time ever: finished my IEPs.

September 20th, 2024

Hello there, everybody.
How are you? I’ve been meaning to write more and more here, but I feel like… am I being petty? And then, I was talking to some coworkers, and I realized that maybe I should keep going, since I seem to keep… bringing myself down about a few things… so…. here it is, for Future-Me:

Today, at the end of class, a student stayed and told me: “At the beginning of the class, I didn’t understand, but now, I think I understand a bit more.”

Wow everyone, can you picture that?
I have so many drafts that I’ve had to go back right now (May 28th, 2025) in order to complete them and schedule them properly. I am so late in these that I have… 55 posts waiting to be written.
…but I have so, so, so little time left in order to complete them… I just… come by here, write down the website that I need, and that’s it. Where is my time going… and how can I get it back…?!

Let’s… discover MATHNOOK!

Positivity Journal 2024-02-01: Car Ride

February 1st, 2024,

Hey there, everyody!
How’s it going? “PV, it’s 2025 and you’re still posting these kinds of anecdotes? Are you not tired of this?” Actually, even though it’s happened less and less that I cry before going back to school on Sundays, I actually started that routine again right after coming back from the Winter Break. It’s horrendous how old (BAD) habits are very difficult to vanquish… Let’s get on with it, shall we?

My coworker was talking to some students and one of them was raving about my classes.

Monday, October 30th, 2023

Hey there everybody,
I trust everybody is doing well! Ever since the school year started, I’ve been meaning to get SOME positivy journal entries going, but I somehow never got the time to? And now that I’m very close to the end of the first semester – when I have tons of things to do, here I am, sitting down and trying to write something.

Today, even though I felt overwhelmed by the work, I sat down and decided on the weight of each class work that I’ve been giving my students for the first semester.

This is my last post of the day, I promise (hopefully!). I wanted to give an update on the Drawtober idea:

Today, I realized that students come in and they are expecting a drawtober prompt on the board.
