Hello there, everybody!
How are you all doing? I hope that… by 2022, everything starting well? Maybe that we are coming along much better in terms of social injustice issues. I encourage future-me to do so if I’m not doing it! You hear me, Future-PV? Do it…!!!
Otherwise, I wanted to wish you a belated Happy New Year! I hope you’ve had a great start of the new year!
Lately, I’ve had to teach online, and, oh goodness, it’s hard because… you don’t always see what’s on your student’s desk, etc… I had some difficulties with teaching math, too, because students don’t necessarily have their own protractors or other. We cannot be completely certain if they understand how to measure certain things.
Well, the website I’m going to show you may help us all out when teaching online: Mathopolis.
This particular website has many games that may help students practice certain mathematical notions:
- Direction,
- Estimation,
- Numbers,
- Equations, etc.
- Ordering,
- Skipping,
- Memory games,
- Cartesian Plane games, etc.
More importantly, they have multiple “practice” math games per grade level, and I thought that was very interesting the way that they categorized.
That’s all I have for you today!
I hope you’re doing well!
