Hi there,
How is everybody doing? That’s right, I’m back at it with some more math learning apps and websites.
What is it?
Splash Learn is a website that gives you a lot of activities from Pre-K to fifth grade (to be fair though, I believe some 6th graders would also benefit from these kinds of games), all about mathematics.
In my opinion, these are fun interactive activities that can help children visualize the material, though they do not replace teaching. It’s just fun to have as a reward or as practice after they’ve had the instructions on how to use them and what the material is for.
What do they offer?
They have numerous games from different categories:
- Multiplication
- Number
- Division
- Fraction
- Ruler
- Times Tables
- Geometry
- Place Value
- Addition
- Algebra
- Time
- Subtraction
- Counting Money
- Measurement
- Equivalent Fractions
- Decimal
- Counting
- Area and Perimeter
- Multiplying Fractions
- Area
Notes: I find the website a little bit difficult to navigate through, if I’m being completely honest with you. It’s hard once you’ve created an account, to view which kinds of activities are there, because the homepage sends you back to the “teacher’s dashboard,” which shows you what kind of activities some students have done and the ones students haven’t done.
I hope this is somewhat helpful!
Have a great month!
