Thursday March 30th, 2023 and Friday, March 31st, 2023

First day of my virtual positivity journal! I hope it goes well!

I found an idea for an activity as introduction to the movie V for Vendetta at 5 AM in the morning (March 30th). I took the first period to prepare, talked to my coworkers about it and they were excited about the project, which was a good sign. I piloted the activity during P2 and P3 and it went pretty well I think? The students seemed to have really enjoyed themselves other than one or two teams. My coworkers said it was a very interesting activity that fit their maturity at that level and that was very interesting (both teams were excited about the activity).

March 30-31st, 2023

I think I am more into sharing my ideas with my coworkers than I was before. I’m also happier with sharing my wins and fails with them and I try to accept more when they say they think it was a good idea or that they would change something.

I know I’m not supposed to mention “negative” things into a positive journal, but I do want to mention that I really don’t think it’s good to work when you’re not supposed to and that working last minute is not always good. But also: isn’t it a sign of comfort in your job that you are not too… scared to adapt? I think in my case, that’s progression, still, if that makes sense.

Aside: I’m not sure I will keep up the entry numbering.
