Hello there, everybody,
Hope you’re doing well!
For years now, ever since WordPress has changed the layout of their posts, it’s been bothering me and I haven’t been able to edit my posts the way that I used to, and… Classic Blocks are just… not the same. For this particular post, I wanted to try and see if I could get used to it. Let’s see how I do?
What is it?

This particular website, I was able to find around the same time that I found the Math Manipulatives. Here is the link for the website where you can actually build things.
It was very fun, because I was able to manipulate blocks the way I could manipulate centicubes. It was a bit difficult to work in a 3D space, but I think you get used to it.

It is HONESTLY so great to be able to help students visualize for their orthographic projections (being able to draw out the Top View, Front view and Side view; in French, it’s the vue de Dessus, de Face et de Droite), as you can see from this image from Britannica.
Basically, you can make creations with blocks. You can add people, you can add some floors, etc. It’s as if you are playing with Legos without having the satisfying feeling of clicking blocks together (even though there IS a clicking sound).
All right, that’s going to have to be it for me today. I hope this was suitable, I really didn’t appreciate that I can’t even Ctrl+U to underline links, for example. It is so difficult to wrap my mind around, because I can Ctrl+B and Ctrl+I just fine to Bold and Italicize. We’ll see if I give these “Blocks” another shot.
Have a great end of your month, everybody!
See you next time,
PV
