Hello there, everybody.
How are you? I’ve been meaning to write more and more here, but I feel like… am I being petty? And then, I was talking to some coworkers, and I realized that maybe I should keep going, since I seem to keep… bringing myself down about a few things… so…. here it is, for Future-Me:

Today, at the end of class, a student stayed and told me: “At the beginning of the class, I didn’t understand, but now, I think I understand a bit more.”

Context: 

This student is pretty weak in class, but since the beginning of the year (so for over 15 days now), he’s worked hard at speaking in English, at raising his hand to ask questions so that he would understand a few things better. Honestly, I wish him the best in his future. He’s got a nice future ahead of him, with the kind of dedication he has.

Since the beginning of the school year, I’ve been working hard with them on writing and grammar. We just finished doing the “outline” of Yes/No Questions and Information Questions and we looked at differences between these questions when they are done with To Be questions and Other Verbs.

I’m so proud that he tries his best. It makes me happy that he comes see me and tells me that he understands a bit more.

All right, it was simple, and maybe I’ll be able to go back and write what was nice for the previous weeks,
