Editions Grand Duc

March 24th, 2020

Hello there, everybody,
How is it going? This is part of a limited series that I’m making about things that teachers or parents can do to still continue to educate their students/children during the pandemic of COVID-19. I am trying to post more often since… I don’t want to study for my midterm and because I feel like these may be extremely helpful to a lot of us.

Today, I want to talk about Éditions Grand Duc which is a Quebecker publisher for pedagogical books here in Quebec. They publish a multitude of textbooks for pre-K, elementary school and high school subjects ranging from English to Math and French, etc.

TESL TreeHouse

March 23rd, 2020

Hello there, everybody!
I hope this post finds you in good health, especially with all this pandemic happening right now. I hope you’ve been washing your hands and I hope you’ve been social distancing properly! At any rate, this post will be published in a few weeks, so I really hope that some solutions will have been found by then…

Chenelière ÉducationMany companies, like Chenelière Éducation, are trying to accommodate for the pandemic and for the fact that schools are now closed until May 1rst (and probably even further into the year, let’s be honest here). Chenelière Éducation is a Montreal company who publishes textbooks for elementary schools, high schools, CEGEPs and universities!

October 17th, 2019

Hello there, everybody!
How are you doing?

This is, I believe, going to be the first of many posts about softwares that you can use for ESL teaching or… any teaching. As a matter of fact, I decided to create a new Category called: “Softwares,” for this particular use.

TESL 330: Netflix Party

March 19th, 2020

Hello there, everybody,
How are you? Because of COVID-19, we are all right now in self-isolation and because I don’t do well without something to do, I’ve decided to try my hand at scheduling posts a little bit more frequently within a month. This schedule hopefully will not be for too long; until the pandemic is being more under control and until I don’t have any more time to dedicate to writing this or if I run out of material (very soon)…
