TESL 330: Kahoot

February 14th, 2020

Hello there everybody!
How are you doing? Today’s Valentine’s day over here, but by the time you receive this, it will be May already. And you know what? You only have one more month to go until you’re done with school, then you’re on vacation (despite being on vacation though, are we ever REALLY finished with school though?)! You can do this! And for you TESL students, you may have JUST finished your Winter semester, and I hope it went amazingly well! If you are starting your summer classes: GOOD LUCK! You got this!

Anyways, this month, I’m yet again looking at a nice website/app which you can use to liven up your classroom!

TESL 426: Quebec Reading Connection

October 11th, 2019

Hello there, everybody!
How are you doing? While I can complain a lot about my TESL 426 class (as you know I did for the Storybook assignment for example), I can also say that this class has given me so much knowledge about websites to use, and here is one of them.

TESL 351: History of the English Language

January 7th, 2020

Good morning, everybody,
How is it going? We have only just begun the year 2020 and I’m already looking towards 2021 (when I should be done with my program and maybe I can finally have my teaching license and my teaching diploma!)!

Anyways, it is the first week of classes, and already, I am overwhelmed by the amount of work for each classes this semester: TESL427, TESL351 and TESL415 (and then, eventually, TESL467). As this is my first post from this “era” of my academic career, I wanted to share with you a couple of “anecdotes” and a few recommendations that I haven’t done yet.

Zotero

October 16th, 2019

Hey there everybody!
You’re doing well? The semester is starting anew, isn’t it? How are we feeling? Good? Yeah, me too. I’m finishing the better half of an intensive semester and will be starting my very first official internship [for this program anyway] in an elementary school. By the time you receive this, I will have begun a new internship, if I recall and if everything goes well this year!

I may be a lot less active in these next few months [and with reason, mind you], but I don’t want you to think that I’ve forgotten about you!

I’m doing all right, I hope. Internships are going to start soon and it’s… gonna be pretty stressful, but… whatever, it’s fine… right…? It’s fine…
