E-Learning Industry

October 17th, 2019

Hello!
How are you all doing? For our project, my team and I actually considered this website E-Learning Industry, and I wanted to share about it. This is, I think, going to be one – if it hasn’t started yet – of the many posts in the chain of “software” that I want to share with you all in the next couple of months.

Just in case this becomes redundant, I will be trying to alternate between other posts and these ones. I may change the post dates for these particular posts, but… knowing how lazy I am, I think not…

The Math Learning Center

October 25th, 2020

Hello there, everybody!
How is everybody doing? I wonder if, by the time you receive this post, the pandemic is sort of over? Or perhaps that everything has changed but… for the better? I also wonder if you are all doing well and hoping so, especially if the pandemic is still hitting. We are currently dealing with the “second wave” and teachers have it rough right now (a lot of service workers, actually, not just teachers). I’m thinking of all of you and wishing you all the best!

Last week, I “went” to the QPAT conference and it was quite fun! Starting with this one and for a few months, I think the websites I’ve discovered from them will be talked about here:

TESL 351: History of the English Language

January 7th, 2020

Good morning, everybody,
How is it going? We have only just begun the year 2020 and I’m already looking towards 2021 (when I should be done with my program and maybe I can finally have my teaching license and my teaching diploma!)!

Anyways, it is the first week of classes, and already, I am overwhelmed by the amount of work for each classes this semester: TESL427, TESL351 and TESL415 (and then, eventually, TESL467). As this is my first post from this “era” of my academic career, I wanted to share with you a couple of “anecdotes” and a few recommendations that I haven’t done yet.

The Marie-Victorin School Board

January 24th, 2020

Hello everybody,
How are you doing? I’m doing well, even though next week, I will have my first midterm.  By the time that you’ll read this… I will be starting or have already started my internship semester. But everything is okay… this may seem strange to suddenly see a post from January 2020, but I’m bumping this post from other scheduled posts, because… it feels pretty important for you to know?

Last year, I scheduled a post about working in the area of Montreal, and now that I’ve gone through a little bit more, I just wanted to keep you all up to date with the process with the Commission Scolaire Marie-Victorin, because if someone with my experience now had been close to me and telling me about these things a few days ago, I feel like they would have reassured me.

Disclaimer: Before you start reading, I want you to know that this is just my personal experience with the whole process, and it may not happen to you specifically.

Anxiety (1)

September 4th, 2019

Dear Teachers with Anxiety,
How are you all? I trust this beginning of September has started well for all of you! Right now, it’s a rainy, rainy day – as many Autumn days are, and this kind of weather just adds on to the gloomy feeling I have, just building up and building up since the last time I had class (back in July).
