TESL 488: Seminar

January 11th, 2021

Hello there, everybody!
I hope you’re doing well, despite everything. I really hope that this year that you’re doing this particular class in does not feature similar (or worse) circumstances than we are currently going through.

Future readers, if you are reading this and you have no idea what I am talking about, GOOD. Be safe and keep washing your hands (I am talking about the COVID-19 pandemic)! If you feel sick in any way, I hope you won’t shirk away from using your masks.

Super Teacher Worksheets

November 12th, 2020

Hello, all!
How are you doing? I hope this post finds you in good shape and good health! Take some time to care for yourself!

This is a complete aside, but… I feel like it’s very important that I point this out… from time to time…

This is probably the first time that I mention this so please don’t mind me if I might repeat myself later on, I have to remind you to read the date stamp above, because this post is written in 2020 and is scheduled for 2022 until I feel comfortable enough to stop scheduling once per month and… maybe have more posts per month? That seems crazy to me… What if one day I am too tired to work on this blog – once I hit the work force – and this blog becomes desolate and does not update anymore…?

Paul’s Online Notes

November 18th, 2020

Hello there everybody!
How are you doing? You may not have noticed yet – I haven’t checked the scheduled posts, but I’ve scheduled posts up to well into 2024 and today, I decided that this blog will stay alive long enough that perhaps I could begin posting twice per month instead of simply once, in order to get these posts out.

This particular post is the first of the series of posts that I will be posting. I really hope that I will be able to keep this up from now on… if not, I’m sorry in advance!

So, today, one of my students asked me a question about derivatives, and I realize that not everyone in sec 5 sees this, but some schools do, and some of you in CEGEP may be going through that. When I was in CEGEP myself, I wish I would have had access to these notes, so I wanted to share this resource with you.

Otherwise, I wanted to wish you a belated Happy New Year! I hope you’ve had a great start of the new year!

E-Learning Industry

October 17th, 2019

Hello!
How are you all doing? For our project, my team and I actually considered this website E-Learning Industry, and I wanted to share about it. This is, I think, going to be one – if it hasn’t started yet – of the many posts in the chain of “software” that I want to share with you all in the next couple of months.

Just in case this becomes redundant, I will be trying to alternate between other posts and these ones. I may change the post dates for these particular posts, but… knowing how lazy I am, I think not…

The Math Learning Center

October 25th, 2020

Hello there, everybody!
How is everybody doing? I wonder if, by the time you receive this post, the pandemic is sort of over? Or perhaps that everything has changed but… for the better? I also wonder if you are all doing well and hoping so, especially if the pandemic is still hitting. We are currently dealing with the “second wave” and teachers have it rough right now (a lot of service workers, actually, not just teachers). I’m thinking of all of you and wishing you all the best!

Last week, I “went” to the QPAT conference and it was quite fun! Starting with this one and for a few months, I think the websites I’ve discovered from them will be talked about here:
